I always use Booking.com to book my short-term hotel stays. I really like using Booking.com because it’s easy to filter your preferences and find good deals. The more stays that you complete through Booking.com, the more rewards you can receive through their tiered rewards scheme.
Finding cheap flights can be time consuming and stressful, but don’t worry, I have some tips to help you find the best deals possible!
Start by heading over to Google Flights and input your departure and arrival destinations and dates. If you have flexible travel dates that is even better as you can compare prices on different days and choose the cheapest and most suitable option for you!
Scroll down the list and find the cheapest flights. Often you find that the cheapest long-haul flights will have stopovers in different places, if you have the time and inclination for this it’s a great way to save money. However, if you would prefer direct flights you can filter this option on Google Flights.
Once you have found the cheapest flight for your destinations, head directly to the airline website and book your flights through them. From personal experience, this has saved me a lot of money when booking my flights and avoids going through third-party websites that take commission.
Travel insurance is one of those things that you don’t necessarily want to buy but it is so important to have it! You never know what will happen on your trip and it’s important to be prepared for the worst.
